We are seeking a talented Power BI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. This role requires strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and visualization best practices, with a focus on enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard & Report Development: Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
Data Modeling: Design efficient data models, relationships, and measures using DAX and Power Query.
Data Integration: Connect to diverse data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, cloud services) and ensure data accuracy.
Performance Optimization: Optimize queries, models, and reports for scalability and responsiveness.
Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective visualizations.
Governance & Security: Implement role-based access, manage workspaces, and ensure compliance with data security standards.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Power BI features and recommend enhancements to reporting processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience with Power BI (desktop and service).
Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M language).
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Ability to design intuitive, user-friendly dashboards and reports.
Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Familiarity with enterprise BI environments and governance practices.
Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics.
Background in business analysis or data science.
Relevant certifications in Power BI or data analytics.
