**Role Summary**
The Inside Sales Executive / Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of B2B customers by selling life science chemicals, reagents, and laboratory or production equipment. This role focuses on quotation management, proactive follow-ups, repeat business, and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage inbound and outbound sales activities for assigned customer accounts
* Prospect and develop new customers across Pharma, Biotech, Academia, CDMOs, Food, and Chemical industries
* Understand and qualify customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions
* Prepare, send, and follow up on quotations through to order closure
* Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on pricing, availability, and lead times
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (accounts, quotes, activities)
* Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and margin targets
* Identify and develop cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
* Build and maintain long-term, trust-based customer relationships
**Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Business
* 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or inside sales (technical sales preferred)
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
* Comfortable with outbound calling, customer engagement, and CRM systems
* Strong organizational skills with a disciplined approach to follow-ups
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience selling laboratory consumables, reagents, or scientific equipment
* Familiarity with pharmaceutical, biotech, or academic research environments
