We are expanding our marketing function and are looking for a **Google PPC Specialist** to take ownership of paid search performance across our portfolio of companies. This is a hands-on, data-driven role suited to someone who lives and breathes Google Ads and understands how to scale both **lead generation and e-commerce campaigns** profitably.
Role Overview
As a **Marketing Executive – Google PPC Specialist**, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising **Google Ads campaigns** across multiple brands and sectors. These include legal lead generation (e.g. Housing Disrepair and Criminal Injuries claims) as well as **e-commerce and direct-to-consumer campaigns**.
Your focus will be on driving **high-quality traffic, conversions, and ROI**, using data-led decision-making and continuous optimisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesGoogle PPC (Core Focus):
* Plan, build, manage, and optimise **Google Ads campaigns** (Search, Display, Performance Max, Shopping where applicable).
* Manage PPC activity across **multiple companies and brands**, including both lead generation and e-commerce accounts.
* Conduct in-depth **keyword research**, competitor analysis, and audience targeting.
* Write and test high-performing ad copy focused on **conversion and compliance**.
* Optimise bids, budgets, Quality Scores, and account structures to maximise ROAS.
* Track and analyse performance metrics including **CPC, CPA, conversion rate, ROAS, and LTV**.
* Implement and monitor conversion tracking via **Google Analytics, GA4, Google Tag Manager**, and platform pixels.
* Produce clear, actionable performance reports and recommendations.
Wider Digital Marketing Support:
* Collaborate with web, content, and design teams on **landing pages and funnels**.
* Support **e-commerce growth**, including product feeds, shopping campaigns, and conversion optimisation.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to align campaigns with business objectives.
* Stay up to date with **Google Ads changes, PPC best practices, and UK advertising regulations**.
Requirements
* Proven **hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns** (essential).
* Demonstrable experience with **e-commerce PPC campaigns** and/or performance-led lead generation.
* Strong analytical mindset with confidence using **Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager, and reporting tools**.
* Experience managing **monthly ad budgets** and delivering measurable ROI.
* Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable working across **multiple brands and industries**.
* Proactive, results-focused, and able to work independently.
**Desirable:**
* Experience in regulated industries (legal, financial services, healthcare).
* Familiarity with Meta Ads alongside Google PPC.
* CRO or landing page optimisation experience.
